The number of deaths as a result of a cancer grew steadily in Spain for both women and men, although the disease seems to affect more male individuals than female, with 67,911 cases occurring in men and 46,917 in women according to the latest data. Furthermore, of the total 276,260 new cases of cancer in Spain in 2023, nearly 158,500 were diagnosed among male individuals.
